The allegory is good and well intentioned, and the art isnt too bad. But there is a lot more tell-dont-show rather than show-dont-tell, making the allegory a lot more blatent and doesnt feel like it has as much depth or nuance as it could in my personal opinion. The slower movement and lack of action feedback let alone sound or music also makes it feel lackluster. The dance floor is also a bit too flashy for my liking.
I dont want to imply that this criticism is shaking off your trauma though. I'm very sorry for what you went through, and you show a lot of strength and resilience sharing your story both through this game and your interview.
